JUST ANNOUNCED: Midtown Underground will perform at Detroit River Days 2010 on Friday June 18th from 8-9PM
River Days is a celebration of Detroit’s river, history and cultural with activities on land and water, including tall ships, live music, sand sculptures, river tours, carnival rides, jet-ski demos, kids activities, delicious eats and much more!
The band is kicking off this spring in style. Once again, Midtown Underground has been nominated for several DETROIT MUSIC AWARDS including "Outstanding Urban/Funk Group" and "Outstanding Urban/Funk Recording" for the 2009 release of "Somethin' Else"
The winners will be announced later this month so stay tuned.
Metro Detroiters: Midtown Underground will be headlining a show @ The Magic Bag on MAY 15, 2010. This is a huge show and we need the support of all our fans in and around the Detroit area. Tickets will be on sale for $8.

Get ready for an exciting Thursday in Kalamazoo. On November 19, 2009 the fellas will be back to the SouthWest Mitten continuing their on-going quest to spread positive/groovy vibrations across the land and promoting the latest recording "Somethin' Else"
The band will be performing live in the basement of WIDR 89.1FM for the "Some Kind of Jam" program at 5:00PM. Tune-in your radio dial to 89.1, or for those outside of Kalamazoo use the following webstream link: WIDR Live Webfeed
After that, the group heads to Bell's Eccentric Cafe' for a full evening of jams. The music starts at 9:30PM there will be a $5 cover charge at the door.

M.U. coming to Grand Rapids!!
Midtown Underground will be back in Grand Rapids on Thursday October 22, 2009. This time around, they will be at the new Founder's Brewing Co. on Grandville St. The band will be supporting SW Michigan Funkateers - FUNKTION so plan to get there early to catch the Midtown Underground set.

Midtown Underground is pleased to have been invited to New Holland's Porkapalooza @ The Red Horse Ranch in Fennville. The event takes place on Saturday October 3, 2009 from noon - 10:00PM. The idea behind the event is to showcase people, business, artists, chefs, etc... who live or strive for a local and sustainable lifestyle. Come groove to the sounds as we get down at The Red Horse Ranch for this very special and unique event.
Tickets are $8 in advance and $12 at the gate
